The quarry itself has been blocked off but mining is still being conducted in the area around it. Gold deposits used to be abundant in the past, but are scarce today.[1]
The area inhabitants are imps that once worked there among the laborers. It's rumored that they became violent after mining Black Stones from the mine.[2][3]
